Crunchy Flapjacks

100g margarine
1 tbsp golden syrup
100g sugar
50g oats
50g Self raising flour
75g cornflakes (crushed)

Oven:Gas mark 5 or 90 C
  1. Turn on the oven. Grease a small swiss roll tin.
  2. Place the margarine and syrup in a saucepan and melt very gently.
  3. Mix all the other ingredients together in a medium mixing bowl and tip into the pan with the syrup and margarine.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Press into the swiss roll tin.
  6. Bake for about 20 mins.
  7. Cut into fingers whilst still warm. Leave to cool in the tin.
